In August, Ms. Se Savin, a 16-year-old youth club leader in Prey Veng Province has been featured in the United Nations Volunteer in Cambodia (UNV)’s “Dream Magazine” on youth employability. The magazine was part of the project between United Nation Volunteer (UNV) in Cambodia and Ministry of Education Youth and Sport (MoEYS) about poverty reduction among youth – development of volunteers’ skill sets for improved employability.
Savin has addressed in the magazine that she first learned about volunteerism from Youth Star volunteer when she was younger.
“At first, I had no idea how to lead a youth club. However, youth star volunteer taught me about leadership skills and enable me to lead the team effectively”, she said.
The magazine has distributed to secondary/high schools all over the provinces and also through online channels.
