With a background in customer service and teaching Sothearom was engaged first as Administrative Assistant in March 2011 and then appointed Admin/Finance Officer in October 2012.

Sothearom speaks about being a member of the Youth Star team, in very positive terms, as a reflection of what she believes in. Sothearom notes that Youth Star’s vision and mission contributes to development and she welcomes the opportunity to share her experience and to help Cambodian youth through the organisation. Sothearom understands that Youth Star’s presence in under-served communities throughout the country has made a positive difference in the lives of many and she believes that the organisation will continue to grow and reach out to more rural communities in the future. Sothearom graduated fromNorton University in 2008 with Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
