On 18 December 2025, Youth Star Cambodia conducted a mobile library and child-friendly activity session for children from displaced families affected by the border conflict in Chamna Kroam Commune, Staung District, Kampong Thom Province. The activity, led by Youth Star volunteers from Cohort 45, Ms. HUT Sreynit and Ms. MOEUY Sreynoy, aimed to provide learning opportunities and promote the psychosocial well-being of displaced children. Activities included mobile library services, guided reading sessions, and energizing games to encourage participation, creativity, and positive social interaction in a safe environment.

A total of 22 children, including 12 girls, participated, benefiting from increased engagement in learning, reduced stress, and a sense of normalcy during displacement.

In addition to these child-focused activities, Youth Star Cambodia supported displaced families throughout 2025. In December, donations raised by Youth Star management, staff, alumni, and generous supporters were provided directly to families relocated from affected provinces. Earlier, on 26 July 2025, food and essential materials were delivered to families who had fled to Wat Thmar Kambor, Banteay Ampil District, Oddar Meanchey Province, seeking safety from the Cambodia–Thailand border conflict.

These efforts reflect Youth Star Cambodia’s ongoing commitment to providing education, psychosocial support, and humanitarian assistance to displaced families and children during this critical time.
